Mahama giving 419 promise - He's ...............

The vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said Ghanaians should not believe President John Mahama who has promised to restore the Nursing Training Allowance.

He described it as a “419 Promise” aimed at deceiving Nursing trainees ahead of the December 7 polls, adding the government had only shown a commitment to abolishing the allowances.

“We have to treat that promise with the contempt that it deserves, it is a propaganda promise, it is a 419 promise, if you vote for him, he will cancel it in 2017. You cannot trust him and his word. You can only trust Nana Akufo-Addo. He is the one who is going to restore the Teacher Training and Nursing Training Allowances,” Dr. Bawumia stated.

Dr. Bawumia indicated that like many other promises of the NDC leader, this promise will be forgotten and remain unfulfilled and that it is only Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP that has the credibility and commitment to restore fully both the Nursing and Teacher Trainee allowances, a commitment the NDC has often attacked and ridiculed.

Speaking at the Nyankpala Campus of the University for Development Studies (UDS) at a Students’ Forum on Thursday, Nana Akufo-Addo’s running mate said, “The NDC government as we all know have cancelled the Teacher Training and Nursing Training Allowances.

“The President said even if it was going to cost him the election, he wasn’t going to restore them, but today, with just two months to the election and seeing defeat staring him in the face, he is trying to make an about turn and is saying that he wants to restore the allowances.”

1,579 people KILLED in Ghana through.......................

Road accidents have claimed 1,579 lives between January and September this year.

The national road safety action plan had set a target of keeping traffic related deaths at a level not exceeding 1,440.

The national road safety commission projected to keep traffic related deaths at a level not exceeding 1,440 at the beginning of the year.

However, by the end of the third quarter of the year, a total of 1,579 deaths had been reported, exceeding the projected yearly target reduction by 15.7%.

Again, the commission recorded 9,205 road traffic crashes involving 14,342 vehicles, eight thousand and six injuries with 2,086 pedestrian knock-downs.

At a stakeholders review conference, a transport consultant, Dr. Paulina Agyekum said the missed target is due to inadequate funds to support road safety projects.

“The major issue has to do with limited resources. When you’re working with limited resources, you do what you can and that is the situation we find ourselves in. Every agency is managing to do what they can within the resources available.”

The executive director of the commission Mrs. May Obiri-Yeboah said despite the challenges, the commission has made some progress towards the UN’s target on road safety by 2020

‘I can’t think madness’ - Mahama

President John Mahama has said he cannot comprehend what informs Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s analysis on the economy.

According to him, it is difficult to appreciate why the NPP running mate continues to talk down the Ghanaian economy in spite of the ample evidence that the economy is on track.

“..Despite all the scientific basis even from outside...If somebody says the economy is going back, then I can’t understand, ‘I can’t think far, I can’t think madness’ but I know that it is propaganda because I have been a student of history, I have been a student of social psychology, a student of politics and others, so I know that when you want to win power you create a feeling of crisis; like the country is collapsing, and that is what they are doing here like it was done during the Brexit vote.

“ I can tell you on authority as President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces that this country is not in crisis and this country is not going backwards. She is going forward,” the president told students of the University of Ghana as part of his campaign in the Greater Accra region.

The comments come on the back of Dr. Bawumia’s attack on the President’s understanding of the economy in recent times. The former deputy governor of the Central bank has persistently described the President as incompetent in the discharge of his duties.

The president is clueless - ????????????

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s running mate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia claims President John Dramani Mahama is clueless in economic management for which reason he doesn’t deserve a second term.

“The Mahama-led NDC administration has mortgaged Ghana’s economy and so another four years for Mahama will collapse the nation,” he opined.

He thus challenged President Mahama to focus on fixing the economy and stop using the NPP’s manifesto as a diversionary tactic to cover up his incompetence.

Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia as part of his two weeks campaign tour of the Northern Region was addressing the University for Development Studies (UDS) Nyankpala campus chapter of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the NPP.

He assured Ghanaians that the NPP under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s competent leadership has a comprehensive economic plan for the nation.

According to him, the nation’s banking system is under threat because debtors are not credit worthy due to the local credit crunch masterminded by the NDC administration.

He further asserted that government’s reckless expenditure has contributed to the overwhelming banking interest rates.

He condemned government’s desperation for tax revenue which he noted is not proportionate to physical infrastructural development.

“The NDC’s Better Ghana agenda is now borrowing and taxation regime. Per capital income has declined by 12 percent, hence Ghana’s economic despair.”

Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia also raised alarm that the Social Security and National Investment Trust (SSNIT) by 2019 could be compelled to cut pension payments to Retirees because of negative cash flow into its kitty.

He described President Mahama’s overturn on the restoration of teacher and Nursing trainees’ allowances as a desperate votes grabbing measure which should be ignored.

He served notice that the allowances could be completely scrapped if President Mahama’s mandate is renewed on December 7.

Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia claimed the formation of Unemployed Graduates Association meant the future of tertiary students is bleak under the Mahama led NDC administration.

Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia wetted the appetite of local contractors saying, “Seventy percent of government contracts will be awarded to local contractors for the money to remain in Ghana.”

He appealed to the electorate within the savannah ecological zone to kick the NDC administration out of office for allegedly turning the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) into a white elephant.

“SADA can be best described as another create, loot and share opportunity and we have to disapprove of the mismanagement and corruption that has engulfed SADA,” he insinuated.

He said the Nana Akufo Addo led NPP has ground breaking promises for the nation part of which is to appoint a special prosecutor to deal with corruption.

He however noted with deep concern that the NPP’s campaign promises would be immaterial without political power.

He implored the electorate to massively vote for the NPP to restore their hope.

He tasked TESCON members across the country to renew their spirit of voluntarism on December 7 by protecting and defending the integrity of the ballots to avoid rigging.

He emphasized that extra vigilance is the NPP’s surest bet to win the December 7 elections “One touch.”

Please Vote For Me - I BEG YOU

The 2016 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has pleaded with Ghanaians to vote for him so the presidency does not elude him in the 2016 polls.

The three-time presidential aspirant, who was addressing party supporters at Alhaji Tabora in the Anyaa Sowutuom constituency as part of his tour of the Greater Accra Region said he could not win the presidency in his previous attempts so the electorate should not disappoint him for the third time.

“This 2016, I need your help to push me to the presidency,” he entreated.

He stressed that he has “great love, respect and humility for Ghanaians and will not stand before you to make promises I cannot fulfil”.

Mr Akufo-Addo assured the electorate that all the policies outlined in the party’s 2016 manifesto are achievable and will be pursued if he becomes president in the next polls.

We will stripe Nana Addo - African Watch Magazine

The Africa Watch Magazine, one of the most widely read on the continent has hit back at the NPP vowing to publish more revelations about Nana Akufo-Addo’s health and clandestine if the insults and lies continue.

Captioned, “Ghana, the Lies and Insults Must Stop – Africawatch responds to Nana Addo” Executive Editor, Steve Malory’s message also descends on acting National Chairman, Freddie Blay describing him as “a dangerous character”.

The latest publication also makes reference to Edward ‘Bumpty’ Akufo-Addo, the NPP Presidential candidate’s brother who is seriously ill. Bumpty, a leading member of NPP financiers’ status, is badly affecting the party which is currently broke and still facing difficulties in raising cash for campaign because of donor fatigue deepened by cracks within the party.

Nana Akufo-Addo reportedly rewarded then deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia with the Vice Presidential slot for awarding the contract for printing of new currencies during the controversial redenomination exercise in 2007.

In a sharp response to attacks led by Freddie Blay’s newspaper, Daily Guide, Steve Mallory wrote; “Africawatch pride ourselves on being one of the most uncompromising, unbiased and truthful panAfrican magazines, and it was in that spirit that we covered in our August issue the health status of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo….. We felt it was a story of vital national and international interest, with ramifications for Ghanaians in the upcoming election as regarding Akufo-Addo’s personal health and ability to withstand the rigors of the Presidency“.

The magazine exposes lies by a local Ghanaian doctor, Prof. Adu Gyamfi, who in a desperate attempt to water down the concerns about Nana Addo’s kidney and cancer disease told an Accra based radio station, JOY FM that the 72-year old Nana Addo’s Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) was not the extremely high 89.9 which we reported, but was only 0.03.

“This response from someone who has been treating a 72-year-old man for the past two years is striking. If he had done so, he could have easily given at least a yes or no response to the simple question of whether Akufo-Addo has ever been to the Wellington Hospital. This alone calls into serious doubt his assertion of a current PSA count of 0.03, or anything else he may have to say regarding the candidate’s state of health.” ..the publication emphasized.

The magazine also described as shocking and very disturbing, Akufo-Addo’s one clear response to all the issues at a rally in the Northern Region: “Now, they say I have cancer, it will not work.”

This, Steve Mallory finds very intriguing because Nana neither confirms nor denies the truth of the medical facts as reported by them.

Mallory dares Nana Addo, explains why financiers have abandoned NPP

Steve Mallory who as a personal friend of Nana Addo, was actively involved in fund raising activities for the NPP candidate is daring him to challenge me.

Africa Watch magazine further asserted, “I quit active politics in 2009 to return to journalism. As a journalist I would remain neutral and the magazine I edit would also remain neutral in Ghanaian politics. But as a friend, I have supported Akufo-Addo in the past. For those who do not know and are saying all sorts of things, I have given Akufo-Addo money in the past to support his campaigns, but he has never, ever given me one cent or one pesewa for my personal use, contrary to what his men are alleging. I dare Akufo-Addo to prove me wrong. My only concern was how Akufo-Addo’s campaign funds were poorly handled and misused. I am therefore not surprised that people are not too keen this time around to open their wallets in support of the NPP 2016 campaign”

Executive Editor Steve Mallory who stands by his publications says he is ready at any time to produce evidence in support of these assertions, including those related to the recent story on the health status of AkufoAddo.

“Nana Akufo-Addo (left) and his wife Rebecca (right) arrive at London’s Heathrow Airport in the early morning of September 9. As before, while visiting there he did other public activities to mask the real reason for yet another trip to the UK for medical treatment for his prostate cancer.”””

According to Mallory, barely two weeks after series of attacks on the magazine for revealing Nana Addo’s, prostate cancer, he sneaked out of the country on a British Airways flight to London for a routine medical treatment, using the recent public lecture on the economy by Dr Mahamadu Bawumia as a decoy.

Because of its earlier story, no announcement was made about Akufo-Addo’s sudden departure to London.

“In fact, he used a lecture in Accra on Ghana’s economy by his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a cover to slip out to London. Akufo-Addo showed up at Bawumia’s lecture all right, to keep up appearances in fact, but after the event, when everybody was digesting what the former deputy governor of Ghana’s Central Bank had said in his lecture, the presidential candidate took advantage of the din after the lecture to make good his escape to London for medical treatment.”

The NPP according to the magazine is in a serious state of dilemma.

“Now it appears Akufo-Addo has hit a snag that poses a threat to the NPP campaign. Three critical factors have come into play: The first is the fact that Akufo-Addo’s ill health is taking a serious toll on him. Second, his brother’s deteriorating health has become a major distraction for him as well. Third, the Akufo-Addo family is financially weak and the NPP is almost broke.”

The Africa Watch Magazine which has laced its boots for further NPP attacks mocks Nana Addo for failing to manage the NPP leaving it in a state of quandary, with very influential leaders deserting him or sitting on the fence while the NPP awaits a shocking defeat in the upcoming elections.

Two arrested for hooting

Two people have been arrested by the Ejisu Police in the Ashanti Region for reportedly hooting at the president and hurling stones at his convoy.

The two, whose names have yet to be disclosed were part of an army of protesters who had lined up on the streets of Ejisu and adjoining communities where the president had gone to inspect some development projects as part of his accounting to the people tour.

It is not clear yet, the motive for their hooting at the president, Nhyira FM's Ohemeng Tawiah reported.

According to him, the Parliamentary Candidate for Ejisu, Gloria Huze who was part of the convoy sustained minor injuries from the stone attacks.

Her car also suffered minor dents from the stones. She has since reported the attacks to the police.

The Ejisu Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Laare Baman confirmed the attack on the president's convoy as well as the arrest of the two but will not give any further details.

In the absence of information, the officials of the NDC are accusing the largest opposition party, the New Patriotic Party of masterminding the attacks on the president's convoy.

According to the Regional Secretary of the governing party, Raymond Tandoh, one of the officials of the NPP in the Ejisu constituency has admitted to being part of those hooting at the president but that cannot be independently verified.

"It is quite unfortunate and we are going to take the matter up," he said. Asked who may have been behind the attacks, Mr. Tandoh said "It is the NPP of course. The youth organiser of the NPP has spoken that he was part of the group. So who else?"

Mr. Raymond Tandoh wants the police to immediately open an investigation into the attacks he described as unwarranted.

He wondered why anybody would want to attack the president and his convoy for embarking on a project that will benefit the whole country.

"The project is not for NDC people. It is for people in Ashanti Region. I don't know why the president wants to do this beautiful thing and you will come and hoot at him."

According to him, this is not the first time the president's convoy has suffered hoots from NPP fanatics. He cited a similar incident he claimed happened at Bantama.

Officials of the opposition party are yet to comment on the matter. Efforts to get a reaction from them have been unsuccessful for now.

Meanwhile, the president will be commissioning one of his community day Senior High School and pay an executive call on the Asantehene later today.

Angel Obinim has the power for bigger penis, breast and buttocks.

Ghanaian pastor and head of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, during his recent healing service in his church, asked his male members who wanted bigger p**nis to file out.
He then laid his hands on their genital region and offered special prayers.

In March this year, same pastor told his congregation he has the power to pray for anyone who wants bigger breast, buttocks or genitals.

“If you do not like the looks of any part of the body, come to me, what do you want that I can’t offer…if you want a big buttocks I can do it for you, if you want big breasts, I can help…if you have a small manhood, I can change them all when I come to the spiritual realm…,” he is quoted as saying in one of his services. NPP to reinstate Afoko & Kwabena Agyepong

Paul Afoko
Kwabena Agyepong
Suspended National Chairman and General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Awentime Afoko and Kwabena Agyei Agyepong respectively are expected to be reinstated by the party anytime soon, Kasapafmonline.com has learnt.

The party is also considering a return of the Second National Vice-Chairman, Sammy Crabbe who is also on suspension.

The exact date for their reinstatement is immediately not known.

Inside sources say the level at which discussions for the return of the trio have reached would be impossible for the party to rescind its decision, especially, as they enter into the critical months of the electioneering campaign.

The NPP, our source hinted, have come to a conclusion that it is only when the suspended national executives of the party return that the party can strategically position itself to win the upcoming general elections considering the large followers of the trio.

The financial resources of the trio especially Mr Afoko could be pull together to assist in financing an effective electioneering campaign is also a major factor the party hierarchy has been considering over the months.

This website is well informed that the return of the suspended officers will not so much impact on the day-to-day administration of the party because by the Peter Mac Manu-chaired Campaign team would be in motion by then.

Their return, our sources say, would foil any plans of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to make capital gains of their present situation during the electioneering campaign, especially, when they mount the platform in the strong holds of the NPP.

I don’t respect Nana Addo - Dr. Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy
According to Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, Nana Addo has not shown leadership in uniting the NPP which has been hit with internal bickering over the last year.

“No, I don’t respect Nana Addo,” Dr. Kennedy responded to a question by Morning Starr host Nii Arday Clegg in an interview Friday.

Dr. Kennedy added: “I do not think that he is a respectful democratic leader and someone who respects democracy…if you ask me from the bottom of my heart whether I respect Nana Akufo-Addo as a leader then I will say no, I don’t, I respect him as an elder of the party.”

Dr. Kennedy’s comments come after the National Executive Committee of the NPP on Thursday indefinitely suspended its general secretary Kwabena Agyepong and Second Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe for acts the party said were not in its interest.

WHY THIS TEMPTATION?

msg
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
-1 Corinthians 10:13-
Uncle Job East was a very wealthy and content man, until a great trial befell him. He lost everything he had ever worked for and lived for; his children, properties and businesses, in one day. It was like “all hell had been let loose,” and everything was working against him. He had two options: to either curse God and die or trust Him even if it seemed worthless. However, he chose the latter and it paid off for him.
Just as the experience of Job, I have often had people ask these questions over and again: if God truly loves and watches over me, why does He allow trials? According to them, they feel that they are confronted with that situation because God does not really care about them. However, they are wrong! He cares so much about you, even in the heat of that trial. He is concerned about all of you, even to the strand of your hair.
One thing I have come to realize is, just as there are examinations in all schools, the school of life would always set exams for you. You can’t run away from them, everyone must be made to write his or her own exams. Your success or failure in it, determines your next phase and everyone has the ability to succeed in his or her given examination. More so, you get to learn how to confront the next test through your last experience and also help someone else through theirs.
There is nothing you are going through today that is new, and no trial is expected to last forever. However, as the above Scripture says, there is always a way of escape. If you can just look beyond that trial, you will see God’s everlasting arm waiting to help you to that greener side. God cannot leave you helpless; neither will He allow go through a temptation that is beyond you. That trial is just a phase. Remember, “There is always light at the end of the tunnel.” Build your strength in the face of it all, and triumph in all things.
Remain Blessed!

NPP on fire

The Headquarters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has again become a scene of violence over disagreement within the party’s rank and file.

Citi News’ Franklin Badu Junior reported Friday morning, that about 20 heavily-built men , who are members of the party’s private security, the Invincible Forces, stormed the office and burnt a motorbike and also demolished the windscreen of a taxicab.
According to him, pedestrians and motorists are unable to use the road although police officers have arrived to maintain law and order.

“There is total violence and chaos. Currently, one side of the road leading to the main entrance of the office has been blocked with a motorbike that has been set on fire. There is also a taxi that looks new and the front and rear mirror have been destroyed. I saw about seven heavily built men destroying the taxi. There about twenty of such macho men in front of the head office warning everybody not to pass there. The police just arrived with two cars to calm the situation because nobody uses the road in front of the office at the moment” Franklin reported.

Franklin added “It is still unclear if the NEC meeting expected to be held today will take place. The information I have is that those attending the meeting are yet to arrive but there are about two administrators already in there.”

According to him, it appears the macho men are not exactly there to prevent the meeting but to protect the area from being invaded by persons claiming to be loyalists of the party’s Chairman, Paul Afoko or any other party leader.

The chaos comes ahead of a National Executive Committee Meeting (NEC) expected to take place today.

Ahead of the meeting however, the disgruntled Chairman of the party, Paul Afoko, had issued a statement to all media houses asking the public to ignore it, saying the party’s First National Vice Chairman, Freddie Blay, is not constitutionally mandated to call a NEC meeting when he is available.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the party’s Disciplinary Committee, Bishop Emmanuel Asante Antwi, has arrived at the head office for the meeting.

Members of the Invincible Forces, say they have information suggesting that some loyalists of Paul Afoko, also known as the ‘Bolga Bull Dogs’, are on their way to the office to disrupt the meeting.

A member of the Invincible Forces told Citi News “we are ready for them so we are waiting for them”.

The meeting according to a party source, will go ahead despite the violent clashes. Among those who have arrived at the office for the meeting, are Hackman Owusu Agyemang, and the party’s Treasurer, Abankwa Yeboah.

The meeting among other things, is expected to consider a proposal for the suspension of the party Chairman, Paul Afoko.

The NPP is yet to fully recover fully from the internal strife that hit the party in recent months

HEALTHY FAMILIES, HEALTHY SOCIETY

msg
“For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.”
-Hebrews 3:4-
Mostly, in the Bible, the word “house” refers to the smallest and most basic unit of the society – the family. The family is the foundation of every society and marriage is what forms a family. This means that the health of any society is largely determined by the health of the families involved. If a society is characterised by good and healthy families therefore, the society would be peaceful and prosperous.
God’s purpose for the family is to build individuals to be better persons. No one can survive in isolation, which is why we are all placed in families to break the gap of isolation and to help us build stronger relationships. If your family is not fulfilling this demand, it means that you are not doing all it takes to fulfill God’s plan for your family.
There are values to be taught, as well as character traits to imbibe. The family environment is the God-ordained place for children to learn the basics of life. If they are not properly thought at this stage, it would be difficult to mend same in the future. A family is also a place to build individuals who are ready to render love and selfless service to humanity. The selfishness, greed and corruption we see in the society today, is as a result of improper family values and trainings.
Understand that: Success in family life is solely your responsibility. You are to build a solid foundation for your children, where they can in turn learn to build theirs. It’s like a relay in athletics; if there is a mistake at the first stage of the race, it automatically affects the rest. Similarly, if your family is not properly structured, it affects other families that come from it and also the society at large. Therefore, there is a call for every Christian to build a successful family – nurtured according to the Word of God, if we must see a successful society.
Remain Blessed!
