As per the Express, the Italian champions Juventus have agreed a pre-contract deal with Catalan giants Barcelona over the transfer move of Paul Pogba, who has been the top transfer priority for Chelsea during the summer.
The 22-year old powerful midfield star has been closely monitored by Barcelona all summer. The Nou Camp giants were, however, unable to sign the 22-year-old because of their transfer embargo, which expires in 2016.
The Italian Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting, that the meeting between the club’s officials has already been held and both sides have agreed terms on a January transfer. It is believed, that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reached an agreement with Juventus over the sale of Pogba, which could go through on New Year’s Day.
