LEAKED: Chelsea are in talks with versatile defender

According to the latest reports, Chelsea are close to sign their summer target Marquinhos from PSG in January, as they are already in talks with versatile defender.However, first-team action has been hard to come by in Laurent Blanc’s side, with Silva and David Luiz being the club’s starting centre-back duo and reducing Marquinhos to just 10 minutes of action this season. Brazil international is clearly unhappy with lack of playing time.

The aforementioned report indicates that the Blues’ sent a €42m (£30.6m) bid for the central defender in August, but it was rejected by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
