Old Trafford in crisis?

A HOST of Manchester United stars have reportedly confronted Louis van Gaal over his 'stifling training methods'.

The Dutch boss is infamous for his hardline techniques and rigid schedule and has already had brush ins with some of his players.Among other cases, Van Gaal fined Marcos Rojo after the defender missed their pre-season trip to the United States and had a well-documented fall out with goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
Now, according to The Times, a group of senior United figures approached Van Gaal to express their worries.
The confrontation is understood to have happened several weeks ago following discussions inside the dressing room.

The players feel that the lack of 'creativity and flexibility' in training is hampering their performances.
The shock news comes after United's indifferent start to the new season.
While their points return, seven from the opening four games, is fine, their performances are yet to spark into life.
United host Liverpool at Old Trafford this weekend and the latest revelation of a mini revolt is sure to heap yet more pressure on Van Gaal's shoulders.
