Atletico Madrid considering to re-sign Chelsea ace Diego Costa

Atletico Madrid are weighing up whether to trigger a £28million release clause in Diego Costa’s contract that would see the Chelsea striker move back to La Liga, according to reports in Spain.
The 27-year-old was a revelation during his debut season at Stamford Bridge but has failed to recapture his form this term and his relationship with Jose Mourinho has appeared strained in the last week.
The Spanish forward, who has scored just four goals so far this term, has been repeatedly linked with a return to Diego Simeone’s side where he spent four years before leaving for the Blues in 2014.
And, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Atletico are ready to trigger the a surprise clause in Costa’s contract that would see the striker move back to the Vicente Calderon.
