One of the finest summer signing of Man United, Matteo Darmian has been named as the player of the month, after his wonderful displays during the whole August.
The Italy international, who has joined the Red Devils from Torino this summer, was voted as the club’s top performer during the first few weeks of the season by the club’s fans. The right-back won the prize with 42 per cent of the vote after impressing as he made his several debut appearances in the English Premier League.
